The Only Original Kufiya Made in Palestine
Raise Your Kufiya To The Sky
For Palestine . From Palestine
Made in the ancient city of Hebron, Hirbawi Kufiyas are unique, having been fashioned by the same reliable technique for nearly 60 years! Hirbawi’s traditional methods set them apart from many cheap knock-offs from abroad, using the Jacquard Loom as an essential part of creating these specialty kufiyas, handmade with love.
The loom allows for more complex designs to be incorporated into production. This special machine is responsible for the iconic patterning now recognized in the kufiya. The Jacquard Looms used at the Hirbawi factory are the same as used all the way back when it opened in 1961!
The Hirbawi factory is more than a place of production: it is a symbol of resilience, resistance, and strength in the face of overwhelming odds. It is a place to celebrate the Palestinian culture authentically, and a reminder as to the need of supporting domestic economies whenever possible. Passion and perseverance are sewn into every thread of each Hirbawi Kufiya.
Original Hirbawi Keffiyeh's
The traditional Palestinian scarf known as Keffiyeh or Hatta. Unfortunately, the local manufacturing of the symbol of the Palestinian struggle for freedom is vanishing as most keffiyeh's sold around the world and even Palestine are made in China or India. Today, only one factory remains in Palestine: The Hirbawi family in Hebron (Al-Khalil) continues to weave the only original Keffiyeh, made in Palestine.
TOK offer you the unique opportunity to purchase original Hibrawi keffiyeh's, delivered to your home, worldwide.
